Trunk or Treat at Mercer Library

Orange pumpkins with a black sign and hand lettering reading "Trick or Treat"

The Mercer Public Library is holding our annual INDOOR Trunk or Treat on Tuesday, October 31st at 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., and you’re invited!

Last year, area businesses, organizations, and individuals participated by handing out treats and providing crafts and other activities for kids. You can keep it simple and just hand out candy, or you can get into the holiday spirit with table decorations, costumes, activities, or anything else you can think of. We’re aiming for family-friendly and not TOO scary. 🙂 The Mercer Leos will be serving complimentary hot dogs and other food in the kitchen, and there will be activities provided by the library.

The Chamber of Commerce is encouraging downtown businesses to be open for trick-or-treating at 4-6 p.m. that evening, too, so we hope to see a lot of kids in town.

Can we count on you or your organization to participate, too? If so, please give us a call to let us know and we’ll save a space for you. And please spread the word to any area groups or individuals you think might be interested!

For more information or to RSVP for a space inside the library for yourself or your group, call the library at 715-476-2366.
