March 24, 2020

Mercer, WI – In compliance with Wisconsin’s Safer-At-Home order, all in-person services at the Mercer Public Library have been suspended through at least April 24, 2020. The library is closed to the public and will no longer be offering any curbside delivery services.

The Mercer Library has a number of online services that local residents can still use during this shutdown, including access to Wisconsin’s Digital Library of ebooks and audiobooks and Gale Courses, a collection of online courses on a wide range of topics. Local residents who are not current cardholders can self-register for a card online and gain immediate access to these digital services as well. Visit the library’s website at www.mercerpubliclibrary.org for instructions and more information.

Current library patrons who have items checked out are asked to hang on to those items until the library reopens. All items will have their due dates extended until at least May 4, and the Mercer Library is always fine-free so no fines will accrue. The library’s book drop is open, but we ask that you only return library materials if it is absolutely necessary.

For questions or more information, visit the library’s website at www.mercerpubliclibrary.org or email director@dev.mercerpubliclibrary.org.
