Thursday night meetings are an Open Meeting and are held at 7:00 p.m. from November through April and at 7:30 p.m. from May through October. Sunday meetings are an Open Big Book Study and are held at 6:00 p.m. year-round.

Summer Reading Series: Camping Adventures

Adventure Begins at Your Library! Join us at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 1 as we take a Camping Adventure! Kids of all ages will enjoy camping stories, activities, and making camping-themed crafts. All are welcome, and there is no cost to attend. The Mercer Library’s 2024 summer reading series is made possible by sponsorship from the Friends of the Mercer Public Library. Thank you!

Friends of the Library USED BOOK SALE

The Friends of the Mercer Public Library will hold a one-day USED BOOK SALE on August 6, 2024. The Used Book Sale will be from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm in the Community Center. Donation Drop Off Large donations for the Book Sale can be dropped off at the Library from Monday July 29, 2024 until Saturday August 3, 2024 during our regular hours. What we accept The library is happy to take donations of items in good, usable condition. We love hardcovers, paperbacks, children’s books, DVDs, CDs, and board games and puzzles if they are in good condition with all their pieces. We we can only accept workbooks like crossword puzzles, Sudoku, and coloring books if they are in new, unused condition. We cannot accept textbooks, legal or medical books, encyclopedias, magazines, and condensed books. We also cannot accept any items that are moldy or have insect damage due to the risk of spreading those problems to other books at the library or in our book sale.
