Tech class: What is the cloud?

iCloud, Google Cloud, cloud computing, THE cloud… What does it all mean?

Librarian Teresa Schmidt will introduce you to the concept of “the cloud” and how it can help you store or backup files, sync your devices, and more. We’ll take a brief look at some of the most popular cloud services for consumers, including iCloud, Google Cloud, and Microsoft 365 and OneDrive. You’ll come away with a better understanding of what cloud computing is and how it can help you keep your files organized and secure.

Don’t forget to bring your login credentials for any cloud services you’re interested in using, including your Google/Gmail account, AppleID, or Microsoft/Outlook/Hotmail account.
