Facebook Marketplace is a classified-ad section on the social media platform that allows you to sell or buy items locally or worldwide. Facebook Marketplace and other online sales platforms have grown in use over the last decade. Want to learn more?

Library assistant Julia Pusateri will cover how to join Marketplace, list your items, and message about your listings or items you want to buy. We’ll also discuss best practices for buying and selling, as well as tips for keeping yourself safe in Marketplace or other sites. The presentation will not cover the “how-tos” of sites like Craigslist or Ebay, but the best practices will apply to any online sales platform.
