Meet the Candidates

Wisconsin will hold elections for local office on April 2, 2024, and the Mercer Library invites you to attend a “Meet the Candidates” open house on Tuesday, March 19th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This informal event will provide time for you to visit individually with the candidates that have registered for Mercer Town Supervisor, Iron County Supervisor Mercer Wards 1, 2, 3, and 4, and Mercer School Board. We have also invited Mercer School representatives to share information about the Mercer School referendum on the April ballot.
Refreshments will be served.
As of February 2, 2024, the following candidates have registered to appear on the ballot. There will be no February primary required for this election.
Mercer Town Supervisor (2 seats): Christan Brandt; Mike Lambert; Victor Ouimette
Iron County Board, Mercer Ward 1: Richard Boes
Iron County Board, Mercer Ward 2: Karen Lauer
Iron County Board, Mercer Ward 3: Roxanne Lutgen; Thomas Thompson, Jr.
Iron County Board, Mercer Ward 4: Tanner Hiller
Mercer School Board: Tanner Hiller, Henry Joustra
