Don’t miss out on “All About Owls” with the North Lakeland Discovery Center on July 9 from 2pm-3pm.
“All About Owls” explores the seldom seen, silent winged hunters who do their jobs when the sun goes down. Learn about their special night hunting adaptations and some basic owl behaviors to gain a better understanding of the benefits of these hunters of the night. Attendees will also have the chance to dissect sterilized Barn Owl pellets, each containing small mammal skeleton parts which can be reconstructed and glued on cards.
