Earth Day Poster Contest

An regular feature of our Mercer Library Earth Day Fair is an art contest, and this year the Friends of the Mercer Public Library are sponsoring a children’s Earth Day poster contest.

Cash prizes will be awarded in three age categories: preschool through second grade, third through sixth grade, and seventh through twelfth grade. All entries must be the student’s own original work. Posters will be judged on their Earth Day message; originality and creativity; and design quality and attractiveness.

Posters may be created using any medium and may be submitted on the entry form or any paper or canvas up to 11” x 17”. All entries may be reproduced by the Mercer Public Library and Friends of the Mercer Public Library for promotional purposes. Originals may be returned on request.

Download a 11″ x 17″ poster entry form here or click here for a poster entry form that you can print on letter-sized paper.

Submit your poster by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 to be eligible for prizes. For more information, call the library at 715-476-2366.
