Friends of the Mercer Public Library
Fall Celebration
The Friends of the Mercer Public Library will hold their annual Fall Celebration on Saturday, September 12th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The event will feature hors d’oeuvres; desserts; beer, wine, and soda; Book Basket raffles; and the very popular “Dine Around” gift certificate pull. We’ll also enjoy live music by Chris Skinner. Feel free to stop in for an hour or stay all afternoon! There’s no cost to attend and the event is open to everyone in the community.
All proceeds from the Dine Around, raffle tickets, and donations will benefit the Friends of the Mercer Public Library, who fund library programming, equipment, and special projects throughout the year. Thank you for your support!

Get your tickets for our popular Book Basket Raffle! Tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10. Tickets will go on sale at 8am on Tuesday August 5 and can be purchased at the Used Book Sale, Friends of the Library Loon Day booth, and during Library operating hours. Drawing for winners will be announced soon.

What’s the “Dine Around”? It’s a fantastically fun activity where everyone’s a winner! You pay a flat amount for a wrapped gift, and you’re guaranteed to win a gift certificate to a local restaurant or other business for at least the amount you paid for it.
