We gladly accept donations to support the Mercer Public Library! Donations can be mailed to 2648W Margaret Street, Mercer, WI 54547 or submitted through online processing including Square links below.
Material Donations
- We are happy to accept items in good, usable condition including hardcovers, paperbacks, children’s books, DVDs, audiobook books, board games and puzzles with all their pieces, and unused coloring books or puzzle books.
- We cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines, and condensed books; VHS tapes; and medical and legal textbooks. Items that have mold or insect damage or have strong odors will not be accepted to prevent the risk of damaging other library materials. Items that have water damage, spine damage, missing pages, or with pages falling out cannot be accepted. Household and personal items cannot be accepted by the Library at anytime.
Monetary donations
- We appreciate all donations made to the Mercer Public Library. Donated funds are used to purchase books, DVDs, board games, and more for the community to enjoy; purchase furniture and equipment for the library; support programs for kids and adults.
- The Friends of the Mercer Public Library are a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are tax deductible. Learn more about the Friends and their work here.

Memorial Donations
- Mercer Public Library will happily establish memorial or honorary funds if you would like to donate on behalf of family, friends, or loved ones. Items purchased using memorial funds will be marked to recognize the individual for whom the donations were made.
