As a part of her residency\, Terry will be hosting a series of 6 workshops that will create and complete two one-of-a-kind sculptures featuring two kids sharing their love of reading. Participants must be able to attend all 6 workshops to experience the most from this program. The classes will be held on: \n\nApril 30 from 10:00am-noon\nMay 2 from 10:00am-noon\nMay 5 from 10:00am-noon\nMay 8 from 10:00am-noon\nJune 7 from 10:00am-noon\nJune 12 from 10:00am-noon\n\nSpace is limited to 12 participants\, so call the Mercer Public Library at 715-476-2366 to reserve your spot. DESCRIPTION:Join Library Assistant Blaze on Friday May 23 at 3:00pm on the grounds of the Mercer Depot for an outdoor presentation on some of the very earliest citizens of Mercer circa 1895. The presentation will include pictures and visuals created from photographic and newspapers archives. Picture is of ‘Big Ed’ Evenson with his pet bear and other early residents and their pets. \nIn the event of inclement weather\, the presentation will be held inside the Library.
