Solar Science and Sun Viewing

Have you ever wanted to know more about our closest star? This week we’ll use our Sun Spotter and eclipse glasses to *safely* observe what the surface of the sun looks like! You’ll learn about sunspots and make some protective cases to keep your eclipse glasses safe to take home.

PLEASE NOTE: This program requires clear skies to see the sun. If the weather isn’t agreeable for us, we’ll offer our “Imagine the Solar System” program instead, and do this program on August 10.
