Transform everyday objects into magical musical instruments as “Spoons for the People” takes us on a journey spanning time periods and cultures. You’ll hear the Musical Bones, Nose Flute, Harmonica, Penny Whistle, Kashakas, Musical Jug, Jaw Harp, and more! Then, you will have the opportunity to learn how to play the Musical Spoons and the Comb & Paper. This event is free and appropriate for all ages and skill levels. Materials will be provided. Join in the fun!
Vincent Schueren is a singer, teacher, and folk instrumentalist with a passion for working with children and using music to build community.
