Community Concert with Spoons for the People
June 22 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Free
We’ve invited Spoons for the People back for another unique musical experience at the library this summer! All ages are invited to dance, play the musical spoons (provided), and join in the fun on Thursday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m.
Vince Schueren is a singer, teacher, and folk instrumentalist who prioritizes playfulness and creativity when performing. He’ll share a colorful array of uncommon folk instruments, combined with the help of a looper pedal, jazz vocals, and improvisation, for a memorable concert. Don’t miss it!
You can find Vince online at SpoonsForThePeople.com, or on Facebook and YouTube.
The program is free and open to all ages, children through adults, and is sponsored by the Friends of the Mercer Library. The program will be held outdoors, weather permitting, so bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on if you like. In case of inclement weather, the program will be moved to the Community Center. For more information, call the library at 715-476-2366.
