Chess Club

Would you like to learn to play chess? Are you already a player but looking for new opponents or maybe even a chance to participate in a local tournament? Anyone from beginner to expert, child to senior, is welcome at our new chess club!

Drop in for a game or two, stop by after school, or stay all afternoon. We will have a few sets available for play, or you are welcome to bring your own. The group will be led by area resident Lon Newman. Lon is a long-time chess player and is certified as a local tournament director for US Chess Federation events.
