Jerri Sokol, Elder Benefit Specialist with the ADRC of the North, will be holding weekly outreach hours at the Mercer Public Library on Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. beginning October 18, 2023.
The Aging and Disability Resource Center of the North provides information and assistance related to aging or adults living with a disability. Their service area includes Ashland, Bayfield, Iron, Price, and Sawyer Counties as well as members of the Bad River, Lac Courte Oreilles, and Red Cliff tribes.
The Elder Benefit Specialist can assist area residents with Medicare open enrollment, Medicare supplemental insurance, SSI, Medical assistance, housing, Food Share, Medicaid, Senior Care prescription drug coverage, medical remedials, and more. She can also help direct you to other ADRC services or other area resources.
