Friends of the Library Fall Celebration
September 21 @ 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm$30
The Friends of the Mercer Public Library will host their annual Fall Celebration on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. This is our most-anticipated event of the year and tickets usually sell out, so don’t delay!
The Fall Celebration includes a full Italian dinner, catered this year by Reuland’s Catering, as well as wine, beer, soda, and dessert. The event also features a live auction with auctioneer Danny O’Sullivan and silent auctions featuring items donated by community members and local businesses. We’re bringing back last year’s “Wine Pull” and the always-popular “Book Basket Raffles,” too.
Tickets are $30 and are available now at the Mercer Public Library. A limited number of tickets will be sold, so don’t wait!
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Dinner seating begins at 6:00 p.m., with the live auction and raffle drawings following dinner.
All proceeds from this event benefit the Friends of the Mercer Public Library, who support library programming, new equipment and furnishings for the library, and many other library services not included in our regular budget. If you aren’t able to attend, please consider sponsoring the event by making a donation. We are still in need of nice bottles of wine for our wine pull; gift certificates for local businesses and services; items for the live and silent auctions; and cash donations to help offset our event expenses. If you are interested in donating, please call the library at 715-476-2366 or email Friends of the Library President Wendy Thiede.
