Featured Artist: photographer Julie Klug
May 20 @ 8:00 am - June 30 @ 5:00 pmFree
Julie Klug will be the featured artist at the Mercer Public Library beginning in late May and continuing through June 2019.
About her artistic journey, Julie says:
I have loved capturing events in photos since my first camera as a little girl. Retired from a 38 year nursing career, married 44 years, raised 3 children, and now a grandma to 9 grandkids, and a wood worker. I’ve had lots of “up north adventures” to Mercer since the early 70’s, and am in love with nature and all the outdoor activities that bring me into nature. We made the move to become full time residents of this lovely town of Mercer, Wisconsin, in 2014 and haven’t looked back… I started taking digital photos and editing them over 15 years ago, and have enjoyed photographing people, animals, and scenery. I am glad to have the opportunity to share a few nature photos with our community at the library this month. Enjoy…..Julie Klug
Julie will be displaying a variety of photographs featuring northwoods wildlife and scenery. She will also offer a special giveaway during her exhibit: visitors are invited to vote on their favorite photo, and one lucky visitor will win a matted print of their favorite.
Visitors may view the exhibit during normal library hours. For more information, call the library at 715-476-2366.
